Role of a teacher has been termed in a conservative and complex form, now a days. But besides teaching, teacher has many responsibilities some of them however are self-created. These self-created responsibilities work so negatively for a teacher that it sometimes make them forced to leave the profession.
Effects of the self-created responsibilities:
These self-created responsibilities have numerous side-effects on the personality of the teacher. Few of these effects are.

- These self-generated responsibilities on the teacher can cause depression in them.
- We expect so high from our teachers that they will shape our personality truly and will make us a totally new person without even putting an effort from our side.

- Self-generated responsibilities are the reason why we are surrounded with only few good teachers.
- As we have over-burdened the good teachers that forces them to leave so the teachers we get as a substitute are scam and do not give us proper attention.

- Burden of these extreme type of responsibilities can be difficult to handle. That is why we are so deprived of good teachers as we put huge burden on them.

Availability of few teachers
A possible reason behind such self-created responsibilities can be the availability of few teachers. If few teachers will available then how we will be the course of the study will get completed. It will be then obvious to put the overall burden on a single person. Responsibilities are more yet the people are less.
Misunderstanding of the concepts
We have so misconceived the concepts of a teacher that we think he is the only guardian of our personality. These misunderstandings hits the actual and real model of the teacher. However, it also results in allowing the teachers to gone away to some respectable place or a more suitable place that values his skills.
Over expectations from the teacher
- We have set so many expectations from the teacher that it has exceeded its limit now.
- We expect so much from our teachers without putting any effort from our side.
Over-burden of course and study
Perhaps, the over-burden of the course with the less-availability of teachers has compelled us to expecting too much from a single teacher. One possible solution of eliminating these self-created responsibilities can be the providence of required teachers and easy-to-absorb course.

- Encouraging students and acting as advisors for students
- Upholding discipline in the classroom
- Running extracurricular sports, clubs and activities (voluntary) which helps them to master everything or to develop skills that help them in their career.
